Aloha and Welcome!
One of my personal resolutions for 2022 has been to really focus on where my food comes from and opting for local products where ever I can.
My son is the easiest to feed locally, since he prefers delicious fresh fruits and veggies over most other foods, (lucky me!!!). My spouse however is a meat and potatoes guy. I am somewhere in the middle (although I have been following a modified Kitchari cleanse since the new year, so at the moment I am mono eating).
I have had the privilege of doing CSA boxes in the past, that have occasionally included locally grown meat, eggs and cheeses as well as a variety of produce.

As a personal shopper, I enjoy purchasing local products for my clients (locals and visitors alike). You can selections of local goods at Times/Big Save Markets, Foodland as well as some of our specialty markets such as Hoku, Papayas and Healthy Hut.

I also personally enjoy a good farmers market and there are no shortage of these on Kauai. Look for signage indicating that produce is grown locally as we do occasionally have marketers show up with a Costco haul.
I am happy to shop any Farmer Market of your choice, if you would like to arrive to your hotel to fresh local produce.

We have several amazing bakeries on Kauai and you can delicious fresh bread. Passion Bakery In Kapaa, Midnight Bear Breads in Hanapepe, Kilauea Bakery in Kilauea and Hanalei Bread Co (Zephyrs) in Hanalei. Order ahead and I am happy to pick up and deliver to you.
Below I am going to list a few local foods that I enjoy. Please Note: this isn’t a complete list and not all products are always available. Feel free to add any of these products to your list when ordering a shopping service. Some items need to be requested in advance, so the more notice you can give your shopper the better.
